The Scale-Up issue

It is said that ships are safe in the harbour, but it is not where they are supposed to be. A lot of young insurance agents fizzled out after signing up their near and dear relatives, for insurance products. Only the seasoned players realise and exploit the power of marketing, last beyond picking up the low hanging fruits. As an insurance agent is an entrepreneur under certain company guideline, for that matter, any entrepreneur should draw up their very own guidelines and objectives. And one of the objectives is obviously to grow their venture beyond their gullies, towns and the city.

Every enterprise needs to scale-up, and grow beyond its roots. You can have your beauty parlour in your house or you can be the next Shahnaz Hussein. You can open up maths tuition center in your locality, or work on a dream to open centers in all cities, across the country, training students for IIT JEE. Every entrepreneur should dream of making a mark on a bigger platform and needs to know when they should scale up their operations.
